Privacy Policy for Vici: Peak Performance
Effective date: June 16, 2026
Last updated: July 22, 2026
Vici: Peak Performance ("Vici," "we," "us") is a lifestyle and habit-tracking app. This policy explains what data we collect, why, and how it's handled.
1. Who we are
Vici is operated by the Vici team. For privacy questions, contact: [email protected].
2. Data we collect
Account information: your email address and an account identifier, used to create and secure your account (via Supabase, our backend provider).
Health and lifestyle data you log: sleep, training, nutrition, and stress entries you enter daily, used to calculate your T-Score and personalize your 12-week program.
HealthKit data: with your permission, Vici reads sleep duration, heart rate variability (HRV), and resting heart rate from Apple HealthKit to support your daily check-ins. This data stays tied to your account in Supabase and is never used for advertising, never sold, and never synced to iCloud or shared with data brokers.
AI Coach data: to generate coaching responses, a summary of the data you have shared with Vici (such as quiz answers, check-ins and health metrics) is transmitted to OpenAI, our AI service provider. Your account identifier is anonymized before transmission. This data is not used by OpenAI to train their models. We use providers' zero-data-retention options where available.
Subscription and purchase status: Vici uses Apple's StoreKit to manage subscriptions. We see your subscription status (active/expired/trial), never your card or payment details; those are handled entirely by Apple.
Usage data: we record which screens and setup steps you reach — for example, that you viewed the paywall, or which question you stopped on — so we can find and fix the places people get stuck. We record the identifier of the step, never the content of your answers. General crash diagnostics may also be collected.
Install identifier: because these events can begin before you create an account, they are tied to a random identifier the app generates on first launch. This is not Apple's advertising identifier, is never used for advertising, and is not shared with anyone. Once you create an account it is linked to that account, so it is removed when you delete your account.
3. Why we collect it
To calculate your T-Score and run your 12-week program. To personalize AI Coach guidance. To manage your subscription and account. To fix bugs and improve the app.
We do not use your data for advertising, and we do not sell your data to anyone.
4. Who we share it with
Supabase (database and authentication hosting). OpenAI (AI Coach response generation only, anonymized). Apple (App Store, StoreKit, HealthKit, as the platform provider).
We do not share your data with advertisers or data brokers.
5. Not a medical device
Vici is a lifestyle and habit-tracking app. It does not diagnose, treat, or measure any medical condition or hormone level, and it is not a substitute for professional medical advice. Talk to a doctor for any health concerns.
6. Data retention and deletion
Your data is stored as long as your account is active. You can delete your account and all associated data at any time from within the app (Settings → Delete Account), or by emailing [email protected].
7. Children
Vici is intended for users 18 and older and is not directed at children.
8. Your rights
You can request access to, correction of, or deletion of your data at any time by contacting [email protected].
9. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as the app evolves. Material changes will be reflected here with an updated effective date.
